Linharts Foundation in Prague took over, what had been a medal producing factory for almost 90 years. Gail Sagman was invited to spend a month in the atmospheric, glass roof lined space, where boxes in cupboards were piled high. 
With found objects always providing the prompts towards new art works, Gail was in her element.

All manner of medals and bacolite logo pieces could be incorporated into other materials, forming works that spanned the walls, floors and ceilings of the rooms. In some instances, the fabric of the building became an integral part of the 2/3 dimensional works, and vice versa.
With the aesthetic from the many decades reflected in the contents of the boxes, the final works in turn, benefited from the richness of that legacy, whilst projecting their contemporary realisation.
