Znak, Prague ‘Suitcases of Honour’, 2018

Linharts Foundation in Prague secured the X medal factory, Znak, to use as a space dedicated to the arts. To inaugurate the building, Gail billed a show called ‘Suitcases of Honour’. After a month of making her own pieces from the inspiring treasures that still remained in the premises, Sagman invited others to make their individual Suitcases.

The Czech artists produced their pieces from a great variety of medium, whilst the two English, actor, Fiona Moir and musician, George Collins, performed from their Suitcases, a narrative in relation to the person or thing they would choose to present with a medal.
