Victoria Square Project, Athens, 2018

Gail discovered, whilst painting with people in India, that a simple process with seductive materials created a situation where many people wanted to engage in making. After further confirmation of this in ‘The Jungle’ in Calais, Sagman took supplies of fabric, pigments and henna to an outdoor spot at The Victoria Square Project in Athens.
There, participants composed the works that were then displayed on washing lines across the pedestrianised area.
