Line Dancing

Works where the quality of line is foremost.

A line is defined as a mark or stroke long in proportion to its breadth, made with a pen, pencil, tool etc on a surface.
It is the trace of a moving point, or as Paul Klee said, “A line is a dot that went for a walk.”
The line leads to the idea of form, which in these instances, is then disrupted towards deconstruction of any notion of form.
The linear juxtaposition creates movement and rhythm.
